Well it has been a while! I have just updated the website after it has been left dormant for too long. All links are current and new works added.
Lottie Jones and the Magical Realms series is all finished, and available for you all to read. It was bittersweet finishing the series, I had a few tears saying goodbye to her and the supporting characters, but as a writer we must grow and carry on writing.
So where did my imagination take me - well firstly it took me to a wonderful couple Lizzie and John, the story was an easy one to write. One of enduring love with a paranormal twist at the end. Set during World War two it tells of how the war affected couples, and many readers seem to resonate with it relating back to their own grandparents. Make sure you have a box of tissues ready for Tea For Two.
Next was a totally different direction for me. I loved horror as I was growing up, and as I got older, psychological horror was my go to read. I must say that even I surprised myself with how dark my imagination was when I was writing The Crate. This story is not for the feint hearted or those of a delicate disposition. My daughter after she read it said "please don't make me read this again" and my boss said "I knew there was a reason that I had you working from home!" so read if you dare!
And finally in October 2024 I released the first story in The Divinexus trilogy, and I loved writing this. Back to fantasy my imagination ran riot. Grace is the main character in this tale, supported by a wonderful set of characters. This is a supernatural dark fantasy and for a more adult audience. The story revolves around a looming war between The Celestials and The Fallen, and Grace finding out where she fits in this.
I have taken a bit of a break from writing the past few months, but I am about to continue writing the second book in The Divinexus series, first step, reading what I have already written and jumping back into the story.
I will try to keep you all more informed about what is happening, and regular blogs will be the way to do that, as well as posting on my social media pages.
